is not tainted by envy at all. Not even a little. The anga- dhamma of loving-kindness will have no such feeling at all.
Therefore, when relating natural conditions, say directly that today when we do walking meditation, we cannot contemplate at all. The phenomenon is like this only... If we say that when we do walking meditation and we cannot contemplate at all, say exactly how we cannot contemplate. When a lot of thoughts emerge, we cannot contemplate at all. Have the intention to know how the problem is, so that we can resolve it. This is no dif cult. Thoughts, stress, sorrow, incomprehension, inability to gain insights into natural conditions. All the these are not dif cult to resolve. But, practitioners must co-operate, must be ready to resolve the problem. But, if I tell you something but you ignore, not interested, not listening—then, it is dif cult to resolve.
The natural conditions that emerge are natural, and are a normal part of life. They are all physical and mental phenomena. When relating natural conditions, we just need to know how to. Another thing—if we are forgetful: After we have practiced dhamma, after we have contemplated natural conditions, we forget. The way to remember the contemplation of natural conditions is to contemplate and experience very clearly. For example, if we do not remember how in ate-de ate emerge and cease—although
