The Castle Pines Chamber of Commerce and the City of Castle Pines have joined forces to introduce Winder Wonderland at The Ridge golf course – two weeks
of holiday festivities in the city. You can also find holiday fun in The Village at Castle Pines. Below is a list of local activities for the whole family.
Tree Lighting at The Ridge – Friday, December 3
On December 3, from 5 p.m. to 6: 30 p.m., residents are invited to The Ridge golf course for complimentary hot cocoa, a meet-and-greet with Santa, local musical entertainment, food trucks and spirits, and fireworks immediately following the 6:30 p.m. lighting of the tree in front of The Ridge.
Santa in the Pines – Saturday, December 4
Join the businesses in The Village at Castle Pines for pictures with Santa, horse carriage rides, Rudolph’s Treatland, caroling holiday shopping and more. It is an official drop-off for Toys For Tots, so bring a new, unwrapped gift for a child in need this holiday season. For additional information, contact LIV Sotheby’s International Realty at 303-660-8800. This event is free to the public.
Trail of lights – December 3 through 19
After the tree lighting and fireworks, the Chamber will host a ribbon cutting ceremony to open the trail of lights at The Ridge. A walking path with be illuminated with holiday lights, and it will remain lit nightly through December 19.
Holly Jolly Brunch – December 11
On December 11, The Ridge will be serving a special brunch from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Seatings are at 8 a.m., 10 a.m., and noon. Please specify seating time and adult tickets (13+ $40)
or child tickets (12U $25). Reservations are required. Come enjoy a reading of The
Night Before Christmas and sit on Santa’s lap for a photo and tell him what you want for Christmas.
Movie Night with The Grinch – December 11
Wear your favorite Christmas jammies and bring your cozy blankets and sleeping bags for this fun family evening at The Ridge. The Grinch will be in attendance for photos, and there will be plenty of family activities in “Whoville” to enjoy. A limited number of reservations are available, so grab your tickets soon. Cost for the movie is $5 per person and Reservations are required.
Holiday Carriage Rides – December 18 & 19
Relax while taking a horse-drawn tour around The Ridge to see the holiday lights. Rides will be scheduled from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Registration is required.
