CHURCH IS KOG... AND IT IS MORE
Once a month, Confirmation youth from 3 ELCA churches in Billings gather for fellowship. In a stage of life when one can often feel isolated or alone, these events help youth connect with new friends and experience that being God’s church extends far beyond our doors. LAUGHING &
LEARNING LESSONS
We want young people to experience that living life with others can be both gift and joy. As they learn the stories of Scripture, we strive to connect with the actual lives of students, which often happens by having some fun. The group pictured on the left is in the final stage of a “Life Maze” activity connected to the Israelites wandering in the wilderness for 40 years.

BELONGING BEFORE BELIEVING
The book Blue Like Jazz by Donald Miller begins by saying, “Sometimes you have to watch somebody love something before you can love it yourself. It is as if they are showing you the way.” Faith can be this way too. Youth are welcome in Confirmation regardless of where they are in their faith journey. Our prayer is that through watching others wonder about Christ, they might begin the journey of wondering as well.
