 WELCOME!
Winter Wildlands Alliance is more than an organization. It’s a movement:
a broad-based nationwide alliance of grassroots groups, athletes, guides, scientists, mountaineers, photographers, backcountry and Nordic skiers, splitboarders and other human-powered adventurers β€” working together with forward-thinking companies and other partners to protect the primal winter landscapes we know and love.
As a member of Winter Wildlands Alliance, you are a crucial part of this movement.
Together, we are creating a new generation of student scientists, explorers and public lands stewards. Together, we are funding and facilitating local advocacy, access, citizen science, avalanche safety and stewardship programs. Together, we are a strong, vibrant and growing force for the defense of public lands, winter ecosystems and wild places.
The purpose of this guide is to connect you with the people and organizations that make up our Alliance, what we do together, and where and how you can continue to plug in β€” at the national level or in your own back yard β€” to make our Alliance even stronger and more effective.
Together we will Keep Winter Wild!
