and served as their treasurer for 10 years. She was a member of
Austin’s Downtown Association since 1994 and helped organize
events such as Christmas in the City, Crazy Days, Harvest Fest,
Fall Fest and the Downtown Rummage Sale. Belles & Beaus
was honored by Chamber Ambassadors as 2016 Small Business
of the Year. Fryer retired and closed her business in December
2017.
The Lifetime Achievement Award was established by the
Chamber Board of Directors in 2002 as a means of raising
awareness of the contributions business leaders make to the
community and our local economy. Nominees can be current or
