CILT Builds Bridges Across the Atlantic
The Institute was delighted to have Taylor Gray as our 2017 summer intern.
Taylor, our US intern, was here to gain experience in a professional setting and learn about the field of logistics and transport within CILT. She is currently a full time student at the Arizona State University (ASU) majoring in Supply Chain Management. The combination of assisting our Irish team along with her dedication and hard work will allow her to acquire an International Business Certificate by autumn
of 2017.
Her daily tasks this summer included enhancing the official launch of our more user-friendly website, assisting the team with data migration, and attending the Institute’s networking events.
This is a great way to build her professional network and assist in the future of her Supply Chain Management career.
For her time here in Ireland Taylor stayed at University College Dublin where she took classes with a focus on Irish history. One of her main goals was to immerse herself in a new culture and gain the professional and cultural experience to work within companies. Taylor has thoroughly enjoying her time here and specifically admires the friendly community, picturesque environment and stunning historic structures and buildings in Dublin.
While on her internship Taylor took full advantage of her weekends and visited many cultural cities and sites such as Galway, Cork, Blarney Castle, the Hill of Tara, with her favourites being Glendalough, Co. Wicklow and the Cliffs of Moher. Taylor has also taken advantage of our European location and visited London and Paris.
We wish Taylor the very best in her continued studies and hope to hear in the future about the bright career she has in front of her.
