     * NOTE 1: Preference will be given to 1st choice applicants.The closing date for this programme is 30 September. We regret that applications received after this date cannot be considered. Applicants who studied/studying at a tertiary institution must submit a certified copy of an academic record not later than 10 January 2025. Students are required to undergo clinical training/placements at training sites outside Durban (some of which may be in rural KZN) as part of their mandatory HPCSA/SAPC/SANC clinical training. Such placements are compulsory, non-negotiable, may be on rotational and/or longitudinal basis and may be extended up to a year or longer. Whilst the University/College of Health Sciences will provide clinicaltrainingincollaborationwiththeKZNDeptofHealth,inlinewithUKZNregulations,studentsareresponsibleforthecostoftravel,accommodationandthebasiccostsofliving,asapplicabletoand intheplacementsite.
