IMPLEMENTATION
Various activities have been conducted with the four out of five identified schools and these range from road safety speech and poetry competitions, workshops with parents and school management teams to physical environmental modifications around the schools to make the schools safer for the learners. Entuthukweni primary school in Lamontville and Sizwakele primary schools at Umlazi are the two schools that have currently had modifications around the school to make them safer. The other modifications for the other three remaining schools will be conducted in the next financial budget.
