Reverend Posselt established the missionary station of Christiannenberg which was named after his wife Christiana in 1867 and later in 1876 a Christianenburg Primary School was built. The
Lutheral missionary of Christiannenberg was established between the years of 1858 – 1930. The Church is one of the oldest in Clermont.
