 Employment Equity
EEA2 and EEA4 reports covering the period were prepared for submission to the Department of Labour.
Employee Relations
A few CCMA matters and disciplinary issues are pending.
Statutory Returns
Statutory returns such as EMP201 are submitted timeously every month.
Rationalisation and Change Management
Organisational design projects like the draft KwaZulu-Natal Tourism and Film Authority structure and employee migration plan are being discussed. Change management activities and engagements are under way for the matching and placement phase.
Furthermore the Terms of Reference for harmonization of remuneration and benefits between TKZN and KZNFC are being worked on, with a budget being secured to restart the SCM process.
Leadership Development
IODSA programmes such as Being a Director, and Financial Insights for Non-Financial Directors, were attended by some EXCO officials.
Records Management
Work is underway to develop the Tourism KwaZulu-Natal File Plan as per the National Archives Act.
