Insurance Measures
The DUT’s asset insurance continues to be guided by appropriate policies and procedures through credible insurance company brands being utilised. Amongst the prioritised risks are the fire-related perils, undue institutional disruption, accidental damage to property/ assets, employer’s liability, public liability, and theft of property, including money.
Forward Outlook into 2024
It is perhaps prudent, as a precursor, to illuminate that, to a significant degree, the key aspirations contained in the previous year’s Forward Outlook on how 2023 would develop, have been achieved as planned during 2023.
The Risk Committee will continue to give strategic direction and play the oversight role to the ERM Unit.
