Mr Favour David Agbajor
Department of Construction Management & Quantity Surveying
Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment
Favour David Agbajor holds a Bachelors (Hons.) degree (cum laude) in Building from the Federal University of Technology Akure, Nigeria and ranked among the top 5% in his class.
Currently, he is a Masters student at the Department of Construction Management and Quantity Surveying at Durban University of Technology, with research focusing on appraisal and optimization of energy-efficient green buildings. Favour is an avid budding scholar in the building energy field where his interests cover building energy efficiency, green building, renewable energy, building simulation, and allied digital applications.
In 2022, he fruitfully published three SCI- cited journal papers and four conference presentations. He is a student member and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) and Energy Institute (EI) respectively in the UK, and has a keen passion to transform modern-day buildings to energy-efficient and climate-resilient built environment via pure and applied research.
