Sardine Run
The Sardine Run is an annual phenomenon which takes place along the Eastern Cape and KwaZulu-Natal coastline in June or July.
Gigantic shoals of sardines migrate along the coast from south to north, followed by sharks, dolphins, game fish and sea birds. The sardines are often driven to the shore where they beach by the thousand.
