Finally, it is worth noting that tackling the research themes and challenges discussed in this study will make it possible for South Africa to harness the power of AI to the fullest, thus driving economic development, enhancing governance, and building a more equitable and sustainable society. Without neglecting technological, moral, and regulatory issues, the nation will be able to overcome the challenges of integration of AI to the benefit of society.
