Dr Joseph Mesuwini

Joseph Mesuwini serves as a senior lecturer at Majuba TVET College, responsible for the Report 191 Engineering part-time programme.
He started his education in Zimbabwe, and obtained a certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Trade Test Fitter Machinist, Diploma in Education and Bachelor of Education in Metal Technology and Design at the University of Zimbabwe.After moving to South Africa, he earned an Honours degree in General Education at the University of South Africa, a Master of Technology Education at the University of KwaZulu-Natal and attained a PhD in Education at the Durban University
of Technology in 2022.The Doctoral research focused on TVET Lecturer Learning through Industry Work Integrated Learning. He has five research publications and presented at four international conferences. Awaiting publication are two book chapters, two conference papers and two research papers. His research areas of interest include TVET, Work Integrated Learning, Work-based Learning, Experiential Learning, Technology Education, Curriculum Innovation and Teacher
