Ms Beekrum is a lecturer in the Department of Biotechnology and Food Science and is currently completing her Doctorate in Food Science and Technology. She is passionate about empowering Food Science students and contributing to the next generation. In her free time, she can be found either cooking and baking up a storm and trying out new foods.

Professor Richard Millham
Professor Richard Millham holds PhD from De Montfort University in Leicester, England , MA from Sheffield Hallam University in Sheffield, England, MSc from the University of Abertay in Dundee, Scotland and BA
(Hons) from the University of Saskatchewan in Canada. He is a Chartered Engineer (UK), a Chartered Engineer Assessor, and Senior Member of IEEE. Richard has published extensively in his research fields of software evolution, aspects of cloud computing with m-interaction, aspects of big data, social media, security, and creative computing. He serves as a peer reviewer for many prominent journals while acting as a keynote/plenary speaker at several international conferences. He is an active member of SACAB that seeks external accreditation and international recognition, via the Seoul Accord, of computing curricula at South African tertiary institutions.

The ICTAS team are all based within the Department of Information Technology in the Faculty of Accounting and Informatics. The team has worked hard to ensure the organization of a consistent, quality conference which offers
researchers an affordable international publishing platform on the African continent. Each member of the team takes responsibility for a specific portfolio and plays an important role in the continued success of the conference.
