King Shaka International Airport
Durban’s new international airport is located north of Durban’s city centre and offers international access to Durban, as well as domestic flights to all the major South African cities. Taxis, airport shuttles and car hire are available.

Inter-city bus companies
Durban is connected to the rest of the country by an excellent bus network, serviced by buses of international standards. The main bus station in Durban is close to the Sahara Kingsmead cricket stadium.
Inter-city train transport
The Durban train station is close to the bus station and connects Durban with other major centres through a train service known as the Shosholoza Meyl. The service offers tourist class (with sleeper accommodation) and economy class (with sitting accommodation), and catering in the dining car.
