   * NOTE 1: First preference will be given to applicants who never studied previously at any other university.The department reserves the right to consider only 1st to 3rd choice students. Applicants are required to complete an entrance assessment and participate in an interview.The applicant will be required to present evidence of a minimum 20 hours of volunteer work with children, youth, families or communities eg. Reference letter, Certificate of Participation, etc. The closing date for this programme is 30 September. We regret that applications received after this date cannot be considered. Meeting the minimum admission requirements does NOT guarantee selection.
* NOTE 2: First preference will be given to applicants who never studied previously at any other university. Students are required to present themselves for an interview and to write an assessment test. The NSC subjects Mathematical Literacy andTechnical Mathematics will NOT be accepted as a substitute for the NSC subject Mathematics.The NSC subjectTechnical Science will not be accepted as a substitute for the subject Physical Science. Meeting the minimum admission requirements does NOT guarantee selection.
