EXCITING DAY AT UMLAZI MEGACITY AS WE WITNESS THE SEED FUND PITCHING COMPETITION

The Centre in partnership with uMlazi Mega City held a SEED FUND judging session at UMlazi Megacity Mall. UMlazi Megacity was buzzing with excitement as young entrepreneurs gathered for the Seed Fund Project competition judging session. The competition aims to provide financial support to emerging businesses and pTromote their growth in the market.
he event was a fantastic opportunity for these entrepreneurs to showcase their talents, skills, and dedication to the panel of judges. The judges
included Thobani Banda, the Finance Officer, and Business Development Officer, Brightness Nonkosi from our centre.
Each business was evaluated based on its market position, financial performance, innovation, and customer service. The competition was tough, and the judges had a difficult task of selecting the best businesses that would benefit from the Seed Fund Project. The atmosphere was electric as the entrepreneurs eagerly awaited their turn to present their businesses. The judges were impressed with the level of innovation and creativity demonstrated by the young entrepreneurs. The businesses ranged from technology startups to fashion design companies, catering services, and agriculture ventures.
One of the standout businesses was a technology startup that developed an innovative mobile application for small businesses. The app was designed to help small business owners manage their finances, track their inventory, and reach
new customers. The judges were impressed with the app’ s potential to revolutionize the small business industry and its user- friendly interface.
Another business that caught the judges’ attention was a fashion design company that specializes in creating sustainable and eco-friendly clothing. The company’s commitment to sustainability and ethical business practices impressed the judges and showcased the growing trend towards environmentally conscious entrepreneurship.
As the judging session came to a close, the panel of judges congratulated all the entrepreneurs for their hard work, dedication, and innovative ideas.
