Each study programme/qualification has its own closing date. Applications and administration fees that reach the CAO before or on such closing dates are given a ‘Waiting for a Decision’ status.
FIRST SEMESTER 2026 ENTRY
Applications and/or administration fees received after the programme closing date receive a ‘Late Application’ status but the on time fee of R250 is still applicable. Generally, programmes with a late status are considered after programmes received before the programme closing date.
Applications and/or administration fees received from 1 November 2025 for the January 2026 Entry receive a 'Late Application' status and the late fee of R470 is applicable.
SECOND SEMESTER 2026 ENTRY
If received on or before 31 May 2026, the on-time administration fee for the second semester (July/Aug) 2026 Entry is R250.
Applications and/or administration fees received from 1 June 2026 for the second semester (July/Aug) 2026 Entry receive a late application status and a late administration fee of R470 is applicable.
