WIL Experience
My Work Integrated Learning in this Centre has been excellent. The staff is very welcoming and supportive, providing thorough guidance on my duties. I’ve learned a lot already and look forward to gaining more experience and knowledge as I complete my Inservice training.
Feeling on Entrepreneurship: I sell perfumes as a side hustle, which has helped me develop my entrepreneurial skills. The monthly sessions held by the Centre for Social Entrepreneurship have further enhanced my understanding of business. I believe that entrepreneurship is a valuable way to support oneself and contribute to the community.
Perspective on Entrepreneurship
I believe that entrepreneurship has a good impact on oneself as it presents challenges that require critical thinking in order to present solutions to the problems faced by society. It also helps in self-development and economic advancement of the country. As a hybrid shooter (photographer & videographer), entrepreneurship allows me to use the lens as a tool not only for capturing moments, but also for navigating the landscape of commerce. As a creative, entrepreneurship challenges you to understand the world of business and how to navigate it.
Quote
“When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen”. I find this Bible verse quote meaningful because it reminds me of the importance of patience and faith.
Career Future Plans
As I am currently in my third year of study, my career plan is to work in a company related to my field of study while pursuing a side hustle. I plan to continue my education until I complete a PhD. After obtaining my PhD, I aim to become a lecturer specializing in accounting, which is the module I enjoy the most.
