 DURBAN UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY
Our progress is rooted in collaboration. I extend my deepest appreciation to our partners, including SEDA, eThekwini Municipality, the private sector, and our global academic allies, for their steadfast support. These partnerships have played a crucial role in providing funding, mentorship, and business development resources.
As we look toward 2025 and beyond, our goal is to:
• Expand incubation opportunities to reach more
aspiring entrepreneurs.
• Leverage digital platforms to enhance entrepreneurial training and mentorship.
• Strengthen third-stream income initiatives to ensure financial sustainability.
• Deepen industry partnerships to improve market access for our graduates.
• Foster a culture of social entrepreneurship that addresses critical societal challenges.
None of these achievements would have been possible without the passionate commitment of the CSERI team, the resilience of our entrepreneurs, and the unwavering support of DUT’s leadership. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to every individual who has contributed to this journey.
As we forge ahead, DUT remains committed to ensuring that CSERI continues to serve as a dynamic hub of entrepreneurship and innovation, producing graduates who are not only academically excellent but also economically impactful.
The future of entrepreneurship at DUT is brighter than ever, and I invite you all to be part of this transformative journey.
