    * NOTE 1: First preference will be given to applicants who never studied previously at any other university. Top applicants will be invited to participate in a placement test and an interview. Selected applicants will also be encouraged to complete at least 8 hours of voluntary service in a Prosthetic and Orthotic environment, for which a voluntary practice report must be submitted.
* NOTE 2: First preference will be given to applicants who never studied previously at any other university. Applicants will undergo an interview. Matric results and ranking the programme as 1st or 2nd choice will also be used for ranking applicants for acceptance into the programme.
* NOTE 3: First preference will be given to applicants who never studied previously at any other university. Applicants are required to submit an assignment. Selected candidates will be invited for a personal interview and entrance tests. All students who successfully complete the B Health Sciences Homeopathy will be eligible for entry into the M Health Sciences Homeopathy. First preference will be given to students with both Physical Science and Life Science/Biology.
* NOTE 4: The closing date for this programme is 30 September. We regret that applications received after this date cannot be considered. Applicants who studied/studying at a tertiary institution must submit a certified copy of an academic record. Contact 031 260 4377 for details. Students are required to undergo clinical training/placements at training sites outside Durban (some of which may be in rural KZN) as part of their mandatory HPCSA/SAPC/ SANC clinical training. Such placements are compulsory, non-negotiable, may be on rotational and/or longitudinal basis and may be extended up to a year or longer. Whilst the University/College of Health Sciences will provide clinical training in collaboration with the KZN Dept of Health, in line with UKZN regulations, students are responsible for the cost of travel, accommodation and the basic costs of living, as applicable to and in the placement site.
