r. Betty Kwoko Mgimba (Tanzanian) is a refined banker by profession for the last 16 years but prefers to be called a relationship
manager for the last 24 in different business industries. Dr. Betty holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Rajasthan (India), a Master in Business Administration and Financial Management from the African Graduate University (Uganda), a postgraduate in Leadership from Aalto University (Finland) and now honoured by the African Graduate University with a Doctorate Honorarium in Business Administration and Financial Management after building capacity for over 5,000 religious leaders, civil servants, women and youth in financial education and start up businesses. Dr. Betty works for Equity Bank currently as the Head of Customer Service & Experience after exemplarily handling three other departments in the same organization in the 9 years she has worked with it. Those that know her refer her as the woman with many hats as she
juggles between working for the pan- African employer, training and consulting as well as fulfilling her passion which is farming. In 2021, she was among the 42 awardees of WIMA (Women in Management Africa) on the Top Women in Management in Africa for the year. She was later voted as a WIMA Leadership Committee member as she supports the women leadership agenda in Africa.

She is currently the Group Manager Marketing and communication for Ibom Air, one of Nigeria’s foremost Airline Operators.
