Brian Daugherty – Engineer – Electric System Integrity Engineering
Before becoming a permanent employee, Brian Interned for BWL for almost a year . Before that, he worked as a waiter, and a ranch hand chef in New Mexico . He is a recent graduate from Michigan State University . He loves animals, and has one puppy and multiple fish tanks . Brian is participating in the 50 peaks challenge to be at the tallest point of all 50 states . Mountaineering is his passion, as well as most outdoor camping activities . Start Date: May 24, 2021

Marc Guest – Gas Plant Chiller Operator – REO Plant/Chiller Plant
Marc worked for nine years as an operator and Instrument/Electrical apprentice . He was involved with commissioning and the start-up up of a new technology, and worked four years at Midland Cogeneration as a Senior Plant Operator . He is married with four daughters, and enjoys woodworking, sports and hunting in his free time . Start Date: June 7, 2021
Jacob Jines – Gas Plant Chiller Operator – REO Plant/Chiller Plant
Before coming to the BWL, Jacob spent the last six years working at Midland Cogeneration Venture in Midland as a Power Plant Operator . Before that he worked in Dow Chemical Michigan Operations . He spent ten years serving various roles, but finished as a Chemical Production Operator . Jacob enjoys cooking and trying new restaurants, foods and vacation experiences . Jacob lives with his girlfriend of five years, Jasmin, and her two daughters . Start Date: June 7, 2021
Seth Methner – Gas Plant Chiller Operator – Reo Plant/Chiller Plant
Seth worked at Midland Cogeneration Venture as a Senior Plant Operator before arriving at the BWL . He lives in Sanford, Michigan with his wife and three children—two boys ages 14 and 11, and a 7-year-old daughter . In his free time, Seth enjoys hunting, hiking, shooting, some fishing, coaching youth football and baseball . Start Date: June 7, 2021
Jeremy Pearce – Planner, Work Management – Work Management Office
Jeremy worked in the manufacturing industry for six years before arriving at the BWL . He primarily produced corrugated board for local converting companies . He is married with a young daughter, and is an avid outdoorsman . His hobbies include hunting and fishing . Jeremy and his wife manage a small farm with cows and horses . Start Date: April 12, 2021
Shawn Redmond – Electric System Operator – Electric System Operations
Before coming to BWL, Shawn worked as a field service electronics technician for EPS Security . His experience includes servicing electronic devices, wiring and software for security, fire alarm, video surveillance and access control systems . Prior to that, he served in the Navy as
a mechanical operator of the nuclear reactor plant onboard the USS Albany, a fast-attack submarine . He spends a lot of his free time going to the gym, working on his car and truck or playing on his computer . Start Date: May 3, 2021
