  Patrick Hanes
Pat started at the BWL in 1978 as a temporary Laborer in Garage and Shops, becoming permanent in 1980 . In 1981, he transferred to Street Lighting and was promoted to a Boulevard Trainee . He held this position for the next year, before transferring to Eckert Station and then to Erickson Station as a Production Plant Helper . Pat transferred back to Street Lighting in 1983 as a Truck Driver and was promoted the following year to Lineman Helper in Overhead Lines . In 1989, Pat was promoted to Pole Setting Machine Operator, and four years later was promoted to the Pole Setting Supervisor . In 1999, Pat transferred to Street Lighting as the Boulevard Supervisor, which was re-titled the following
year to Electric Construction Crew Supervisor in Overhead & Underground Construction . Pat was promoted to Operations Supervisor in 2010 . He was promoted again
a year later, to the Manager of Electric Transmission and Distribution, the position from which he retired on May 22, 2021, after 42 .51 years of service .
Robin Laferier
Robin began working in the Call Center at the BWL in 2004 . She began as a Customer Service Representative 1 and moved up to CSR 2 a year later . In 2007, she began working as a Customer Service Rep 3, the position from which she retired on June 19, 2021, after 17 .25 years of service .
Sidney Pierce
Sid began working at the BWL on June 18, 1979, in General Maintenance . A year later, he began working as a laborer in Eckert . In 1981, Sid started his job as a Boiler Operator, and the following year he moved to Pump Operation . 1984 took Sid to the position of Lab Technician at Eckert, and he moved to Operator C in the year following . Sid became a Maintenance Mechanic Apprentice in 1988, and he graduated to Maintenance Mechanic two years later . In the year 2000, Sid moved to become a Customer Account Representative for Field Services, where he remained until he retired in 2005 . After being retired for ten years, Sid decided to come back to the BWL, and began where he left off as a Field Services Customer Account Rep . He worked in that position until his second retirement on May 22, 2021 after 26 .94 years of service .
Edwin Renkie
Edwin came to the BWL on March 12, 2001, as a Project Engineer for Production Support . A year later, he became a Technical Supervisor in Maintenance & Engineering . Remaining as a Technical Supervisor, he moved to Erickson until 2011, when he became the Project Engineer in Plant Asset Management, then in the Eckert Station . He retired on June 1, 2021 as the Project Engineer in Electric Production after 20 .2 years of service .
Gary Simpson
Gary started working at the BWL on June 25, 2007, as an Electrician in Maintenance & Construction . In 2010, he began working as a Traffic Signal Maintenance Specialist . Three years later, he moved to Utility Designer 4, and quickly to Utility Designer 5 . In 2016, Gary returned to Traffic Signal Maintenance Specialist for two years, and he retired on June 12, 2021 as a Utility Designer 5 . He served at the BWL for 13 .76 years .
