Syed Abbas
Syed is a graduate student with experience as an electrical engineer intern for a major Fertilizer Company (FFC) . He is currently doing his graduate degree in Electrical (Power) Engineering from Cleveland State . Some of his hobbies include watching sporting events, playing video games, hunting and travelling to new places .
Jacob Bondi
Last summer Jacob was an intern with BWL in the Asset Management Department, he currently attends Michigan Technological University and will graduate in spring 2022 with a Mechanical Engineering Degree . Jacob is 21 years old and lives in Holt, Michigan . He has an older brother who also went to MTU and a younger sister who plans to attend Ferris State in the fall . Jacob enjoys playing hockey, reading, skiing, fishing, swimming, and watching movies .
Kaitie Carlson
Kaitie has previously worked at the BWL as an intern in the Work Management Department . She is a senior at Central Michigan University majoring in Biochemistry . Her career goal is to go into cancer research . She is the Color Guard captain of the Chippewa Marching Band, and in her free time she coaches high school teams . Her hobbies include reading, traveling, and color guard .
Emily Cowles
Emily has just graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Psychology . This fall she plans to attend Middle Tennessee State University for her Master’s in Industrial/ Organizational Psychology . Her career goals are to either go into HR or an external/internal consulting role . In her free time, she loves to play soccer and played for WMU’s Women’s club team for four years as well as serving as the president her senior year .
Nathaniel DeRoos
Nate previously worked at Commercial Carpentry and is currently a student at Michigan State University . He is 22 years old and has three brothers . Some of his hobbies include Basketball, Skiing, Backpacking, and watching sports with friends .
Zachary Grycza
Zach previously worked as a Cart Staff for Shepherds Hollow golf course and was a Referee
for the MSU IM Program . He is going into his senior at MSU studying Electrical Engineering . His hobbies include, playing golf, basketball, skim boarding and longboarding . Zach has 2 younger brothers and an 8-year-old golden lab named Lucky back at home .
Steven Hansen
Steven has previously worked as a Robotic technician for LOC Performance Inc . He just finished a Computer Engineering degree from Central Michigan, and is
looking to use those skills that he has learned in future projects . Some of his hobbies are repairing and building electronics .
