The 1986-87 edition ofCBA Foren­ sics team, though small, made a strong showing at the tournaments that it attended. In the category of JV extemp, the Brothers had a particu­ larly strong one-two punch. At the tournament held by the Franciscan Academy, Michael Bucci took third
place and Peter Thompson took first place in JV extemp.. In the cate­ gory of oral interpretation, senior, Paul Barnaba consistently placed well for the Brothers, in the category of Humorous Interpretation, Brian Riley captured third place at his first two tournaments.
Mr. Brendan Charlebois, in his sixth year as forensics coach, guided the Brothers through a successful season. The highlights of the season included an overnight trip to Buffalo and the team’s home tournament. Once again, the Brothers have prov­ en that they are a force to be reck­ oned with.
