As Freshmen, we began an evo lution which would be built upon by education, experience and in
teraction with peers and teachers. We began our journey through high school that was full of changes, sometimes not so pleas ant, but mostly fulfilling and posi tive. The wonder of it ail led to participation and struggle to form a solid unit with enough freedom to maintain individual identities.. Role confusion was a major prob lem, which is normal anywhere at this age. We searched and joined
various activities, such as sports, social organizations, and outside school related activities to develop our niche and then integrate it into
the unit of our class. This critical time when we are presented so many alternatives was the first step from boy to young man. What we made of these offerings helped determine who we were and what our future values would be based upon.
