At the beginning of the season ev eryone had high expectations for the Varsity Basketball Team. They were
coming off of their sectional cham pionship season and that seemed rea son enough for high hopes. The sea son started rather slowly with the Brothers record of 3-4 after the first seven games. The team, however, put together a multiple game winning streak in mid-season preparing them for a high finish in the Metro Division and almost certain sectional success.
The players on the team have brought with them a great amount of experience, most of them return to the varsity squad for a second year. Mark Adams, Scott Laba, Nelson
Whitmore are the guards who teamed with Daryl Gladden at this position and contributed significantly
to the team’s success. Jeff Lomber, Andrew Johnson, Jason Dyer and Tim Eckert worked well together forming what has become possibly one of the best front lines in the
league.
