The Brothers managed to outdo them­
selves in their last year under departing
coach Brother Jerome Lippert, after
winning the 1976 CNYCL crown. The
C.B.A. netmen compiled the best
record in C.B.A. history, sweeping the
CNYCL with 29 out of a possible 30
points, and finishing as runner-up
finalists in Section III. The Brothers did
this on the strength of an excellent
team with both standout talent and
balance, comprised of undefeated
freshman Peter Vlassis, juniors joe
Weinheimer and Ed Sammis, seniors
Steve Magee and Dave Mount, senior
Bob Sable and soph Tom Sacco. Un­
derclassmen Matt Coolican, Bob Gual-
tieri, and Mark Moore supply depth for
a strong future in C.B.A. tennis.
