The Varsity Golf Team was extremely suc­ cessful this year. They fought well and hard, outplaying many opponents in regular season play.
The team was indeed talented, but was also extremely young. The oldest members being only sophomores. The youngest being in middle school./; Through being successful during the season, they earned the chance of playing in Sectional C. Mike Bennett was an asset and a contributing cause to entering Sectional C. Sec­ tional C took place in the Adirondacks. In a beautiful woodland setting, CBA came away with the Sectional C championship. The goal to the Sectional C was paved with a victory over Cicero-North Syracuse, a feather in our cap.
Even though this was a very good year, fan­ tastic years are in the future. As previously stat­ ed, the team is very young and due to the fact that the team will not lose a single member this year, future successes are assured. Look for­ ward to more championship seasons for this Golf Team.
