The Junior High also has a program that allows to students to explore their interest in areas that may not be included in the regular “ 3 R’s ” of the school day through the ac­ tivities period program. Students are given a chance to spend about an hour and a half once a week
during second semester learning and actually doing things ranging from weightlifting to drama and in­ cluding first aid, sign language, cooking, and woodworking.
