Opening Mass
Each year, C.B.A. has held a mass to mark the heginning of the school
year and a frest start for many students. This year, however, was different.
It also marked the beginning of a new year with our new principal Brother
Michael Shubnell, our new vice-principals Mr. Mitchell and Miss Whyte,
and many other new members of the faculty.
Father Charles Major, a C.B.A. alumnus, urged us to reflect on ourselves
and to become leaders at C.B.A. Brother Michael blessed the senior class,
with the hope that they will be leaders in their last year. He, too, requested
that we all should strive to be leaders, and preserve our pride. At C.B.A., we
can be ourselves, be leaders and dare to be different, and still be accepted.

A moment that brought students together was the sign of peace. Here, Ray Gallardo and a friend shake hands.
School gatherings serve to unite the students. This liturgy brought everyone together for the first time.
