Sink The Sub!
ost of US know what it's like to have a substitute teacher.
Some students enjoy having subs, because they know
they can get away with murder. Some dread subs be­
cause it means either a boring day, or more homework.
A possible reason for disliking subs would be the fact that they
sit and do nothing, except write their name on the board and
assign homework. If the subs actually do teach, they are more
boring than the teacher!
On the other hand, students can ignore the subs and turn the
class into a circus. When their teacher comes back, however, you
can bet they will be in more trouble than they bargained for.
So, no matter how kids react to substitute teachers, they have
to admit; a sub makes the "real" teacher look good.
