Tough Act To Follow
T he Boys Varsity Team had a great season. The team made
it to sectionals and had a win­
ning record even though they
lost their two top scorers from last
year. Led by Adam Barconcelli and
goalie Jason Aumiller, the team also
had many other returning seniors.
Mike Bonney, Brian Kanerviko, Peter
Neuberger, and Dan Kianka were
among them. Newcomers on the team
were Senior Jory Kunzel, a foreign
exchange student from Germany, and
eighth grader Mike McQuatters, a key
player for the brothers.
The team had many close games,
but none as close as their first sec­
tional game. The game was won after
playing overtime by the scoring of
penalty kicks. This shows that the tal­
ented group always played and
worked hard, which made the season
as rewarding as it was.
Tuck in your shirt, touch your
toes, when warming up, any­
thing goes.
