Setting The Pace
T he Boys JV Basketball Team is not one to be reck oned with. In the Christmas Tournament, the team lost only to Bishop Ludden and placed third overall. However, the players had earned the right to play
Thanksgiving Tournament, in which the Mexico and Can-
astota teams suffered a crushing defeat by the Brothers.
Coach Hummel has proven to be a worthy coach. He
has brought the players together and directed the team's
focus toward playing as best as they can. He has also
developed some strategies which have aided in their
game.
As a team, the guys have definitely improved. Their
camaraderie has made this possible. But they've yet to
overcome their toughest opponents, which are city
teams. Team Captains Shad Hanrahad and Chris Bogle
will continue to lead the team into victory.
For the future, the players all hope to move on to Var
sity next year . . . together. But for now, they will attempt
to win the remainder of their games.
