Champions
olf is a team of swingers
that can't seem to lose.
This past spring, the
GBrothers Golf Team
showed remarkable talent by pro­
ducing an honorable record of 11-1
and by going all the way to become
league champions.
The Brothers are not new to win­
ning at the game of golf. Since 1984,
the Brothers have been a force to be
reckoned with as they have produced
several wins in championships. The
team figured they might as well do it
\ one more time.
The Brothers succeeded with the
talent of last year's Seniors Pat Barry,
Joe LaGuardia, and John Geisler. The
Varsity squad was also joined by this
year's Senior Jonathan Micale, as well
as Sophomore Mike Shannon. Their
coach, Mr. John Passano, taught the
golfers excellent moves which brought
them victory.
This is not to say, however, that the
team did not fare some tough mo­
ments. The sectional tournament at Ives
Hill Country Club could be described
as a pilgrimage to disaster, even
though the Brothers overall played a
respectable game.
The team will face an uphill battle
with the loss of several Seniors, but
the group of remaining players are
optimistic about their next season.

nder the leadership of
Coach Lasda, the Boys
Eighth Grade Basketball
team has had a winning
season. They have won fourteen dif­
ficult games and have lost only to East
Syracuse Minoa. The players respon­
sible for this accomplishment are cap­
tains Daniel Glover and Jett Segar.
With a winning team like this one, it
makes people wonder why they ever
