On the Way to the Top
h, the sophomore year. It is the time when
classes start to get harder, and the homework
becomes more time consuming. This is the
year when you are truly caught between the enjoy
ment of being a child, and the excitement of being
a young adult.
This is the year that independence and responsi
bility begin. Many get their learner's permits, and
soon they too will add to the mayhem in the CBA
student parking lot. Also, this is the time when the
actual deliberation over college begins. They know
that soon the pressure will be on them for PSAT's,
SAT's, and ACT's.
When you think about it. Sophomore year is the
last chance to have fun and freedom in high school
before your true responsibility begins. So to all soon-
to-be Juniors, hope you enjoy it. To all soon-to-be
Sophomores . . . live it up next year!
