the team, expectations were high that
player performance would be strong
enough to take on the league leading
team — St. Ann’s. In spite of a sea­
son which witnessed strong contribu­
tions from returning players Chris St. Charles’ favor.
Nelson, Paul Izzo, and Chris Robb, Middle School squad saw key losses which frustrated their hopes of meet­ ing St. Ann’s in playoff competition.

going 11-5 overall. Forward Bobby Campbell was both an offensive threat and a defensive stopper. Mike ludice also provided consistency at guard slot. The team took second place in Blessed Sacrament Christ­ mas Tournament, losing only to Saint Ann’s. Coach Herbert Maxwell said he was very pleased with the team’s never-say-die attitude and their hard, aggressive style of play.
Ready or not, Chris Robb, Bob Campbell, Andy Mowins, and Chris Nelson get psyched for St. Ce- celias.
