HMM: What advice do you have for others who have THE dream?
JT: Write it down and break it up into manageable pieces that you can bring to life. Then find yourself a tribe who can help you make your dream a reality.
My passion is creating high profile, large scale collaborative marketing projects that busy business and professional women from a wide range of industries can plug their businesses into. My current collaborative marketing project is the One Million Woman Link Up. The powerhouse business initiative educates aspiring 7 figure women on how to monetize their LinkedIn membership by forging lucrative collaborative marketing partnerships with like-mind business and professional women so they can sell out their events, catapult their book sales, boost their offline/online foot traffic, fill up their coaching hours, and more by positioning themselves in front of its community of 360 million business and professional women from over 200 countries and territories.
HMM: What makes you do what you do?
JT: I love hearing the joy in the women's voices when I start sharing the creative ways that they can collaborate with other business coaches, consultants, podcasters, conference organizers, etc., to grow their visibility and female client base.
For example, a podcaster that showcases new female business owners can partner with a sales coach, WordPress coach, PR consultant, incorporation lawyer, social media consultant, and more to provide tips for her podcast's blog and show to help her audience scale up their businesses. In turn, they can share her podcasts in their newsletters and their blogs, recommend guests, promote the availability of her advertising/sponsorship opps, and more. In essence, she can grow her audience, differentiate herself from her competition, AND boost her revenue.
They can enhance their collaboration even more by packaging up the tips, blog posts, and podcasts for joint use on LinkedIn using its key features -- updates (feeding each other's LinkedIn feed), Company Pages (creating posts that drive traffic to each other's websites AND Company Pages to grow their followers), publishing platform (creating a joint article or newsletter that drives traffic to each other's websites), live streaming (going on camera together to provide a coffee table discussion around their tips each month), Event Pages (creating a joint virtual mixer hosted by a different collaborative marketing partner each month), and Slideshare (creating a slideshow of each month's business tips).
HMM: How difficult is it to maintain a work-life balance? What measures do you take to ensure that you have that?
JT: I'm one of the millions of people who are going through virtual school with their grandchildren. On top of that, I am helping my husband recover from a stroke. I don't have a work-life balance. I have quiet moments that I've learned to appreciate more.
Would you consider yourself a driven person? What makes you a powerhouse? What is the source of your strength?
I am a driven person. I've put in my dues over the past 20+ years online building strategic business relationships. I always have networked from a position of sharing and helping versus a "what's in it for me" attitude. The source of my strength is family. I want to be a role model for my daughters and grandchildren.
