Tags and Swipes, Fall 2020

The Regional Management Team is looking for members to join our support teams. There are many
responsibilities involved with serving the members of Region 1. Your input, help and support are crucial
to the success of our Region. Being a part of any of our resource teams provides you and the chorus or
quartet you represent a voice in the future of our Region. Please consider taking on one of the positions
below. Training will be provided and you will be a part of an exciting team working together to
accomplish rewarding goals.

Registrar – Responsible for collecting and organizing registration lists for all regional events and
ensuring badges are prepared. Works with the FC to determine participation eligibility for regional
events. Responsible for collecting fees related to registration, remitting to the Finance Coordinator, and
reconciling the cash box at the end of events. Works with other members of the RMT and other task
forces as the need arises for events outside of the regional weekends and contest. Handles registration
issues that arise on site. Works closely with the EVC, FC, Housing Coordinator and host choruses.

Trophies and Awards Chair – Organizes all aspects of the awards, ordering trophies, plaques, ribbons
and any other awards as needed. Oversees nominations for the Marge Bennett Angel Award. Ensures that
monies, including Love Gifts, are distributed as outlined in the Awards Reimbursement section of the
Standing Rules. Delivers all medals, trophies and certificates backstage prior to the start of the quartet
contest. Works closely with the EVC, FC, CC and OPL. Contact Patti Lavernoich at events@sai-

Show of Champions Coordinator – Arranges for the smooth running of the show on Saturday night of
the convention weekend. Invites an Emcee and performers, as instructed by the EVC, and arranges
rehearsal space for those participating in the show. Assures that the ballroom is ready for the show
including awards to be given out, seating and sound system. Works with the EVC and Trophies and

Chapter Standing Rules Review Administrator – Chapter Standing Rules must be reviewed to ensure
they conform to Standing Rules guidelines published by Sweet Adelines International at regular intervals.
Must have good understanding of Sweet Adelines Standing Rules guidelines. Works closely with the
Regional Team Coordinator and Team Coordinator of Region 1 choruses. Contact Becky King @
