To highlight this ever-changing and environmentally sensitive part of the world that has been largely overlooked for the past 90 years.

To carry out physiological research on the impact of extreme physical exertion and mental stress over a prolonged period of time in a desert environment of dramatic temperature contrasts. These measurements will be processed and published as a paper to provide a deeper insight into human endurance capabilities.
