• Human resource had adopted the practice of sending a personal birthday message to each staff member on their birthday.
• Each personal message is a way of saying, “You matter.” It’s a small gesture that reflects our appreciation for every individual’s contribution to the region.
• In recognition of February as the Month of Love, our region celebrated this month with the theme “Celebrating the Art of Love in the Workplace”
• Promoting a culture of Kindness and Respect. This event reminded us to treat one another with empathy and care in our daily interactions.
• As part of our ongoing commitment to promoting health and wellness among staff the Eastern Cape UNISA Athletic Team has actively participated in various provincial marathons and fun run/walk events.
• We have successfully participated in seven provincial marathon/fun run events.
