Collaborations The College of Science Engineering at Technology facilitated an MoU between UNISA and the University of Massachusetts, Amherst (USA) in April and already collaborative research work has begun between both Universities’ Departments of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering. A signi cant MOU between UMass Amherst and (UNISA) was signed on Tuesday, April 2, by Provost and Senior Chancellor for Academic Affairs John McCarthy and Bhekie Mamba, executive dean of the College of Science, Engineering and Technology Prof Mamba also gave a public presentation titled “UNISA and UMass Collaborating in Shaping the Future of Humanity in Science, Engineering and Technology” in the Elab II Auditorium of the University of Massachusetts. The main objective of this partnership is to promote and guide the development, training, learning, research & innovation of digital skills. The purpose of the seminar was to strengthen the collaborative ties that already exist between Tianjin Polytechnic University and UNISA and that are embodied in the MoU that exists between the two institutions.
