The road from here
Thank you for investing your time and attention (especially if you’re in the early aftermath of crisis when there’s so much on your plate) to read this guidebook and try a few of the exercises suggested here.
Now you know what experience and empirical research tell us about how to come back from adversity—and even transform disaster into opportunity. Now you have a toolbox of ideas and practices I hope you’ll return to again and again in the days ahead.
The ComeBACK FormulaTM takes us through the initial steps of crisis-related emotional recovery. It enables us to transition quickly from victims to survivors! But the journey can continue farther if you choose to pursue it.
Survivors usually evolve into thrivers. And thrivers often become givers, generously sharing the gifts and wisdom they gained from their own crises with others facing similar challenges. Thriving and giving are wonderful ways to live! No need to travel any farther along the comeback journey. You’ve lived into your new story!
Unless . . . you’re among those who feel called to take yet another step, to leverage their own loss into a legacy, to transform their personal pain into blessings for themselves and others. If this sounds like you, rock on. The world is waiting.
Let’s stay in touch. Email me at Visit my website at Follow me on Facebook (Sandra Younger) and/or Twitter (@syounger) Meanwhile, much love and all best wishes to you as your comeback journey continues!
