The Process
Take a quick look at our step by step guide to the Equity release process:
● Research, to find out some general information about Equity release, we recommend these sites.
● Talk to your family and/or friends
● Call our freephone number and speak too one of our bookers who can help with any initial
questions you might have and book your free, no obligation, first appointment
● The First appointment with your dedicated independent advisor where you can discuss the options
available and we can find out more about you
● Taking the information from your first appointment our advisors will search the whole market to
find the best product for you
● Second Appointment, where your advisor will give you their recommendations and answer any of
your questions
● If you decide to proceed, we then start the paperwork; it is at this point your property is valued by
an independent surveyor
● You will receive your offer, which will include full terms and conditions of the product
● An Independent solicitor acting on your behalf will take care of the legal aspects
● Then, between 6 - 12 weeks later, the money is released for you to use.
You can choose to have your appointments face to face or via secure video call, both in the comfort of your own home.
We always welcome family at appointments so we can answer any questions they might have at the process.
If you choose to go ahead with the recommendation of the Independent Advisor, we arrange everything from start to finish to make sure it is smooth and hassle free.
You are able to cancel at any time before you sign and complete the agreement, and will not incur any fees from us by doing so.
