Airmen received autographed banners from Frostee Rucker, Arizona Cardinals de- fensive tackle, Oct. 25 at Luke Air Force Base. Cardinals players and cheerleaders came to Luke to learn about the mission and to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony for the newly renovated Community Commons.

An Air Force carry team transports the remains of Maj. Troy Gilbert Oct. 3 at Dover Air Force Base, Delaware. Gilbert was killed Nov. 27, 2006, when his F-16C Fighting Fal- con crashed 20 miles northwest of Baghdad. U.S. forces were able to return the F-16 pilot’s remains approximately 10 years after he was killed in combat operations saving the lives of U.S. service members and coalition allies. He was deployed from Luke Air Force Base.
