Fort Irwin community remembers 9/11

The National Training Center and Fort Irwin’s Directorate of Emergency Services hosted a 9/11 Remembrance event Septem-
ber 11 on Fort Irwin, California.
Col. Steven L. Chadwick, the deputy
commander and chief of staff for NTC, delivered opening remarks at Fort Irwin’s Fire Station 1. Community members then
walked to the Gen. Robert W. Cone NTC & 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment Heritage Center where retired FDNY Firefighter and 9/11 survivor Kevin Shea spoke with retired FDNY Ladder Truck 152 in the background.
