Colombian Air Force visits Edwards AFB

Edwards AFB, Calif.
More than 50 members of the Co- lombian and Brazilian air forces vis- ited Edwards Air Force Base, Calif., Sept. 10, 2018.
The delegation received a base mission brief from Dr. David Smith, Edwards AFB Installation Support Director at the U.S. Air Force Test Pilot School, followed by another brief from the school’s commandant, Col. Ryan Blake.
The purpose of the visit was for the international partners to boost relations and get a better under- standing of 412th Test Wing and Edwards facilities. The delegation’s tour of the base included a tour of various base facilities such as the museum, its restoration hangar, and also a briefing on the Wing’s B-52 Stratofortresses.
